Open Topic for Clio

For our class on November 18th, I would like to learn about writing for the web. On this topic, I hope to discuss some of the following questions: How can historians attract more audience in their history website? What are the differences between writing a book and writing for the web? How can historians be more successful in teaching/learning history by using digital media? What are the techniques to “show” history more interestingly on the web? and more… I would also like to know if art history students have different techniques or styles in writing for the web.

I found an interesting book for this topic, which Laura already mentioned on her blog, and that is: Writing History in Digital Age by Kristen Nawrotzki and Jack Dougherty.
